In 2005 we both won ribbons at the Minnesota State Fair.  Bridget’s needlepoint recreation of Matisse’s Goldfish took 9 years to complete.  It won second in its category. The judges thought it was too “discordant”.  (I have added a picture from the Russian museum to compare the work)
 
We also entered the willow basket category and each took a ribbon.  Our baskets were done over a weekend.
